The Vacutainer? ? Fluoride Tubes have powdered sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate added to it. BD Vacutainer? 367925 Fluoride Tube (plastic) with glycolytic inhibitor, 15.0 mg sodium fluoride, 12.0 mg potassium oxalate. BD Vacutainer? Fluoride Tubes are made of a special formulation of the plastic, polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This special formulation is extremely strong, dimensionally stable, and resistant to chemicals and breakage.
